M° Mangieri Musicista, compositore e direttore d’orchestra Biography STATE ASCOLTANDO Suonno e fantasia - Nunzio Gallo For piano and orchestra, he wrote a Tarantella (Orchestra Anepeta and Segurini) and La Samacurca   (Orchestra Cinico Angelini). Concerto in Mib and Rapsodia in La, won the Jury prize at the II  International Festival of Symphonic Music, transmitted by RAI in Eurovision. He composed and wrote  Picasso Rapsody for Edoardo De Filippo.   He composed the music for The Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens.   Mangieri had as mentor Alberto Curci, brother of the founder of the great Publishing CURCI, Alfredo,  who gave birth to the most important source of classical and light music in Italy. Alberto Curci, great  Professor at the Conservatory of Naples, immediately saw his potential, and supported him as long as  he lived.   F.S. Mangieri has left a lot of unreleased music, light and classical. He died at the age of 89 years, on 7 November 2008, in Rome, the city where he always breathed oldest ideals.
