Mangieri had as mentor Alberto Curci, brother of the founder of the great Publishing CURCI, Alfredo,who gave birth to the most important source of classical and light music in Italy. Alberto Curci, greatProfessor at the Conservatory of Naples, immediately saw his potential, and supported him as long ashe lived. F.S. Mangieri has left a lot of unreleased music, light and classical. He died at the age of 89 years, on 7 November 2008, in Rome, the city where he always breathed oldest ideals.
